  1. the angle_rep is some direction angle, can anyone explain in more detail pls?)

I've finally confirmed that 'angle_rep' is used to tell Aster in which direction the fibers are aligned in a shell, if fibers are used. It HAS to be there, even though no fibers are used. VECTOR can also be used I think. take a look here, this was what finally got me to understand this keyword - it's been annoying me for some time now:

By default angle is zero. If not, it must be specified in degrees and must lie between –90° and + 90°
