We have put together a "case study" that explores the application of several different packages included with CAELinux (Salome, Elmer, Code_Saturne, Paraview, RKWard), and a couple of additional packages that we would recommend be incorporated into future releases of CAELinux (g3data for extracting data from published graphs, and Eureqa, a package for developing mathematical relationships from raw data, both of which are Open Source).
